Dear Mr. Nigel,
It was an absolute pleasure meeting you at the Cafe Royal. It was my first afternoon tea and my first visit to Cafe Royal. You made it an extraordinary experience.
Thank you for keeping my Yorkshire friend entertained. She and her friend, Teresa, went on about you for the afternoon and into the evening.
Lastly, but most importantly, thank you for your service in the Royal Navy. I’m glad that we are fellow sailors, allies and close friends. There are few of us in this world anymore. It is an honour to have met you.
