I am a new member of the guild, however I have been playing the bagpipes professionally for over 30 years and have been fortunate to play for all manner of events from Royalty, corporate functions and many weddings at home and overseas.
The interaction between myself and guests at these events gave me the enthusiasms to go forward as a Professionally Trained Toastmaster. I have MC’d at many weddings and found this to be my calling.
My strengths are knowing how to be Appropriate, Articulate and Approachable. The Toastmaster is the Hassle Barrier where you have to ensure everything goes off well whatever the occasion.
I have had over 30 years experience working and managing within local government running teams of over 300 staff. I pride myself in being a People Person.
